Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide and protect SAFI.

• Account information such as your email address and authentication identifiers.
• When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, profile image and the basic identity identifiers Google provides with the openid, email and profile scopes.
• Videos you upload, generated transcripts, caption corrections and rendered outputs.
• Technical and operational records such as request times, errors, device or browser information, security events and project state.
• Payment and credit records when paid features are used. SAFI does not store full payment-card details.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, provide transcription and captioned-video features, save and restore your projects, prevent abuse, enforce account entitlements, process purchases, support users, secure the service and diagnose failures.

Google account data is used only to sign you in, identify your SAFI account and display basic account information. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it or share it for unrelated purposes.

Supporting services and international processing

SAFI uses carefully selected services for authentication, cloud hosting, private media storage, AI-assisted transcription and rendering, payment processing, email delivery, monitoring and support. These services process data only to perform their contracted function and may process it outside Algeria under their own security and privacy commitments.

Storage and retention

Uploaded source videos, captions and clean rendered masters are private. Clean media is normally retained for up to seven days. After a download is requested, the rendered master may be scheduled for deletion after a one-hour grace period. Invalid, abandoned and temporary processing files may be removed sooner.

Account, payment, ledger, security and operational records are retained while necessary to provide SAFI, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and satisfy legal obligations. Backups and supporting-service logs may take additional time to expire.

Security

SAFI uses authenticated access, ownership-based database and storage controls, private media storage, short-lived delivery links, encrypted transport and restricted server credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask questions about processing by contacting support@safidz.com. Some financial, security or legal records may need to be retained after account deletion. You can disconnect Google access from your Google Account settings.

Children and prohibited uploads

SAFI is not directed to children under 16. Do not upload material you lack the right to process, or content containing sensitive personal information unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate permission.
